BFES was delighted to work with the team at Hambledon Vineyard to enhance the functionality and appearance of their kitchen pass area. As with many busy hospitality environments, the existing layout had become cluttered and lacked the clean, professional presentation expected within a premium dining setting.
The Challenge
The hot pass area had become visually busy, with equipment and fixtures creating an untidy appearance when viewed from the restaurant’s chef’s table. The objective was to create a more streamlined and organised workspace while maintaining operational efficiency for the kitchen team.
The Solution
Working closely with Hambledon Vineyard, our team redesigned the pass area to improve both functionality and presentation.
The project included:
- Removal of the existing gantry and salamander
- Installation of a new continuous worktop over the hot cupboards
- Supply and installation of a bespoke 3-metre gantry
- Installation of a closed table over the existing bench refrigeration units
- Reconfiguration of the pass area to create a cleaner, more organised workspace
The new layout was carefully designed to provide a professional finish while ensuring the kitchen team retained an efficient service area during busy periods.
