The site is situated within a conservation area and partially below residential accommodation. Planning Permission was needed, this in turn caused many challenges along the way, especially with the planning and designing of the ventilation system.

Frequent objections from residents about the potential noise and smell delayed this project numerous times. Many changes to the specification had to be made to meet the requirements outlined. We are more than happy to support our clients through this process, in providing additional information, advice and designs that may be required for the Planning Permission to be granted.

We designed the kitchen and bespoke ventilation system that included various silencers and odor control measures.  Planning Permission was granted and the project was finally given the go ahead in June 2020, with a lot of work to be completed before the kitchen could then be installed.

Once the site was ready, we were then able to install the new ventilation system in January 2021 and the kitchen finally being installed in August 2021.
